When the outlet resistance of the pump increases to a certain value, it may cause the pump to overload. The pump flow regulating valve can bypass part of the water flow from its water outlet to prevent the pump from being overloaded. For this purpose, the valve can replace the electric differential pressure bypass valve, and has a great price advantage, and because the pump flow regulating valve is a purely mechanical device and does not need to be connected with an electric device, the design can be simplified.
In addition to preventing the pump from being overloaded, another function of the pump flow control valve is to increase the flow in the water inlet pipe and prevent the pump from being evacuated. As shown in the figure, the pump draws water from the water inlet pipe (B pipe) and presses it into the system (A pipe), the pump flow control valve is connected to the water outlet pipe, and the bypass pipe of the control valve is connected to the water port. The water in the water tank cannot meet the water flow requirements, which will inevitably cause the pump to suck empty. At this time, the bypass pipe of the regulating valve will bypass a part of the water into the water pipe. Protect the pump by meeting the flow requirements of the pump.
