High pressure regulating valve thermocouple placement

Author:

The placement of the thermocouple of the high-pressure regulating valve ① The nominal size of the high-pressure regulating valve is DN < 100mm (NPS4), and the nominal pressure PN10, PN16, PN25 measures the position of the sensor.

1) Pressure gauge: The reading range of the pressure gauge should be 1.5~4 times of the test pressure, and its measurement accuracy is 3% of the standard scale.
2) Calorimeter block: 38mm cubic calorimeter block as shown in Figure 2-37, the block should be made of carbon steel, the center of which is the thermocouple sensing area, for the nominal size test valve, two calorimeter blocks should be used , set according to Figure 2-35. For the nominal size test valve, 2 calorimeter squares should be used, and the use of 2 squares should be set as shown in Figure 2-36. For the nominal size, add a calorimeter square, as shown in footnote a of Figure 2-36.
3) The fire source should be at least 150mm away from the test valve or any calorimeter, and it should be sufficient for the flame to completely close the test valve.
4) On the outlet pipeline of the test high-pressure regulating valve, a stop valve of not less than DN15 should be installed, and the pipeline should be inclined downward so that the test medium can be fully discharged.
5) The inner wall of the fire test device and the test valve should be kept clean and free of debris. The distance between the inner wall and any part of the test valve in the horizontal direction should be at least 150 mm, and the top of the test valve should be at least 150 mm away from the upper wall in the vertical direction. .
6) If the diameter of the upstream working pipe of the test valve is larger than DN25 or larger than the nominal size of the test, the working pipe shall be closed with flame at least 150 mm away from the test valve. The conveying capacity of the upstream pipe should be greater than the maximum allowable leakage of the valve under test. Therefore, the test device should be designed in this way.
7) Testing the leakage of the connection between the high-pressure regulating valve and the working pipe is not included in the test evaluation range, nor is it included in the allowable external leakage range. For this reason, the connection must be tightened to reduce leakage.
8) The accuracy of the flame environment and the graduated valve body thermocouple should be at least equal to the B type class 2 or other type class 3 in IEC 60584-2.
9) The container for receiving the leakage of the valve under test should be large enough.
10) Calibrate the sight gauge or water level gauge.
